Angel has over 22 years of working in the mental and behavioral health field. She has demonstrated experience working in executive-leadership positions at other facilities, such as CEO of a residential treatment facility. Angel has played a key-role in the turnaround of several institutions, with client care always being top of mind. She notes that “this isn’t a job, it’s a way of life”, and is dedicated to serving her community. In her off-time God, her kids, and family she describes as her pillars of refuge.

Dr. Malone is Board Certified in General and Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also Board Certified in Psychoanalysis. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at UT Southwestern and a Senior Teaching Analyst in the Dallas Psychoanalytic Institute. He’s been named one of the “Best Doctors in Texas” (top 5%) 14 years in a row by Texas Monthly and is in their Hall of Fame. His passion is treating patients, with the hope of offering relief of suffering and giving people the opportunity to live fuller, more satisfying lives. He is married for forty years with two adult daughters. A college swimmer at SMU, he enjoys swimming, basketball and outdoor activities and even swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco last year!

Melvin has over 45 years of experience working in the behavioral health and substance abuse industry. His first job was working with adolescent males in a residential setting, and that’s when he found his purpose, to help people find their way in life. Melvin’s favorite thing about his work is when he gets to connect with people, and help them find solutions to whatever problems they might be experiencing. In his time off, he enjoys spending time outdoors: Fishing, camping, boating. Working on his ‘68 C10 Chevy Pickup Truck. And mentoring young men in his church.

Tricia has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. She started in Admissions & Utilization Review, then expanded to Finance/Revenue Cycle. Tricia originally wanted to become a social worker and help people who were struggling from addiction and mental issues, but soon saw all the barriers clients had to overcome to get help. Since then, she has shifted her focus to more macro-level work, that aids in streamlining work processes which help her peers provide an exceptional level of patient care. Tricia is known to be a lover of the great outdoors, if she’s not out hiking a mountain, you might find her spending time with family at the beach.

Kenisha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor and graduated from UTA with her Master’s in Social Work in 2009. She worked for over 15 years in Social Services, and has experience with various acute psychiatric hospitals, foster care agencies, and community social services agencies. Kenisha has a heart for helping people, and empowers her clients to “live their best life”. She uses evidence-based practices and coping skills to be mindful of their thoughts and behaviors. Kenisha is the President of the North Texas Black Social Workers Association. When she’s not helping her community, Kenisha loves spending time with her husband and son.

Michael carries over 27 years of experience working in behavioral health facilities. Some of his credentials consist of: BS Degree, Licensed Child Care Administrator, Trust-Based Relational Intervention Practioner, and SAMA Certified. Michael has a passion helping people reach their goals, and he thoroughly enjoys teaching and training staff to become better client care professionals. If Michael isn’t training Fort’s excellent staff, he might be shooting some hoops at the gym, listening to music, or hanging out with family.

Christine has been helping people recover from substance abuse disorder for the past 11+ years. She began her career as a recovery advocate and worked her way up to Facility Director for a program that had over 200 inpatient RTC beds. At her last job Christine held the position of Clinical Director. When she’s not helping people recover from a hopeless state of mind and body, she enjoys spending quality time with her grandson, husband and her 3 dogs.

Angela is passionate about seeing people recover and return home to their families, healthier and whole. Positive and client-focused, she goes above and beyond to build relationships and provide resources to those working toward recovery.
Prior to joining Fort Behavioral Health in February 2020, Angela served as an Outreach Coordinator for a national addiction treatment company. She also worked in business development for a residential drug and alcohol rehab in Lubbock County and a mental health facility in Carrollton. She has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Clark Atlanta University. In her free time, Angela likes to travel, volunteer at church and spend quality time with her daughter.
