Arthur has served as Fort Behavioral Health’s Chief Operations Officer since January 2020. Prior to joining Fort Behavioral Health, he worked as Vice President of Business Development for a national behavioral health company. He also spent several years as Director of Referral Relations and Director of Marketing for behavioral health care companies in Texas and New Mexico. Arthur has a Bachelor of Business Management degree.
For Arthur, treatment is not just a career but a lifestyle. He feels honored to do this work. Every day, he is inspired by clients’ ability to improve their lives no matter where they are starting out or whether or not they believe recovery is possible. In his free time, Arthur enjoys reading, spending time with his family and being outdoors.

Casey Green, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Green received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas in 1996 and his Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He had originally trained in anesthesiology, but after confronting his own addiction issues in 2004 decided to train in psychiatry and dedicate himself to helping those who struggle with addiction and co-occurring mental illness. Dr. Green completed his psychiatry residency training at John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth, TX. He has worked at Terrell State Hospital, North Texas State Hospital and extensive experience in residential addiction treatment.
Dr. Green is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and board-certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine. Dr. Green believes that effective treatment for alcoholism and drug addiction should address co-occurring disorders, and that treatment must be holistic, strength-based, and multidisciplinary. He focuses on the biological, interpersonal, holistic and spiritual aspects of alcohol and drug addiction, as well as their interaction with depression, anxiety, trauma and mood disorders. He strives to give clients individualized care that gives them the opportunity to live a sober and abundant life one day at a time.

William Pierre Robert, MD
Medical Director – Adolescent Autism
Dr. Robert specializes in treating children, teens and families and people with autism. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his pediatric residency program in Galveston as well.
Since 1994, Dr. Robert has been a pediatrician with the Grapevine Pediatric Clinic, helping children and families with their health and wellness. He joined Fort Behavioral Health in October 2019. When he isn’t working with patients, he enjoys fishing, gardening, doing home repairs, golfing and spending time with his four children.

Sara Kaylor, LPC, LCDC
Adult Clinical Program Director
Sara joined the Fort team in early 2019 as a primary therapist. In her role, she works with adult clients on an individual and group basis, building and strengthening the foundation for sustainable recovery. She has been in the treatment field since 2009, where she began her career as a direct care provider for an adult substance abuse program. She has provided counseling for the homeless population, as well as dual-diagnosis counseling in a variety of treatment settings. She has experience working with adolescents and adults suffering from both mental health and substance abuse issues. Sara earned her master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of North Texas and is a licensed chemical dependency counselor and a licensed professional counselor. She is trained in both CBT and EMDR, with a trauma-focused approach to addiction recovery. When Sara is not at Fort, she enjoys spending time with her husband and is a very proud band mom of 9th grader, Brooklyn.

Jeri Hornsby, RN
Director of Nursing
Jeri became a registered nurse to fulfill a personal mission to help others. She has specialized in emergency medicine for 20 years. Before joining Fort Behavioral Health, she spent three years as Director of Nursing at a Texas-based drug and alcohol treatment center, where she assessed and intervened with medical and psychiatric emergencies. In her free time, she loves to take walks with her dog and spend time with her family.

Trish has over 11 years of experience in the field of mental health. She joined Fort Behavioral Health in February 2020. Previously, she held positions as Director of Admissions, Alumni Coordinator, Business Development Representative and Program Counselor. She specializes in crisis intervention, case management, therapy and utilization review. Trish has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of North Texas.
Trish feels her purpose in life is to help people. She enjoys watching the transformation that happens as people come to treatment and start to feel hope once again. Outside of work, Trish can be found hiking, traveling or spending time with her three dogs.

Kylie has helped families find the right treatment program for their loved one for nine years. Before joining Fort Behavioral Health in April 2020, she represented several behavioral health programs in TX, FL and AZ. Kylie is passionate about serving the community and being a resource to help people make lasting changes in their lives. She has bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Administration of Justice from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Outside of work, Kylie enjoys painting and spending time outdoors with her husband and five children.

Therapist
Carolyn is a licensed marriage and family therapist-associate and licensed chemical dependency counselor-intern. She has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Texas Wesleyan University.
For Carolyn, helping others is a calling. Prior to joining Fort Behavioral Health in January 2020, Carolyn treated substance abuse and mental health issues at multiple treatment centers in Texas. She also spent six years in the U.S. Army, including two tours in Iraq. As a combat veteran, she has a unique understanding of veterans and how deployments can affect service men and women and their loved ones.
Carolyn specializes in trauma-informed care, PTSD and veterans, and family systems. Having grown up in a large family with a variety of dynamics, she is passionate about healing family relationships. The entire family is affected by the disease of addiction, so she works not only with the addicted person but also supports and educates their family. When she isn’t caring for clients and their families, Carolyn spends time with her own family and likes to travel.

Debra Atkisson, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Atkisson is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry, with over 30 years of experience practicing in these areas. She is trained in dialectical behavior therapy and specializes in treating autism spectrum disorder, depression, anxiety, PTSD and chemical dependency. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Karl Menninger School of Psychiatry.
Dr. Atkisson joined Fort Behavioral Health in March 2020. She also serves as Associate Professor at TCU & UNTHSC School of Medicine, where she trains the doctors of tomorrow. She has also served as Associate Medical Director, Psychiatry, at Cook Children’s Medical Center and Medical Director at a mental health hospital and an intensive outpatient program in Arlington.
As a passionate advocate for mental health treatment, she is the Texas Representative to the American Psychiatric Association, past President of the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, and a past Chairman of the Texas Federation of Psychiatry. Dr. Akisson is also a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Atkisson has dedicated her life to helping people become their best selves. Seeing people become restored to better health and finding joy and purpose in their lives fulfills her calling as a psychiatrist. Her holistic approach combines biological, psychological, social and spiritual elements. In her free time, Dr. Atkisson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, Bible study, yoga and cheering for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Nichole Danley, B.S., LCDC
Lead Intake Coordinator
Nichole is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development/Family Studies and Substance Abuse Studies. Nichole began her career in the treatment industry in 2006. Before joining Fort Behavioral Health in March 2020, she worked as Director of Admissions for an addiction treatment center in Lubbock County. She also served as Director of Finance and Organizational Development for a treatment center with locations in four states and Manager of Intake and Payor Relations at a residential drug rehab and PTSD treatment center in Arizona.
With a passion for providing people with solutions that can change their lives, Nichole’s goal is to give people hope. She specializes in crisis intervention, admissions counseling, utilization review and insurance billing. When she is not keeping busy with her husband, three children and dog, she spends her free time reading, watching documentaries, or planning her next trip.

Whitney is a Fort Worth native and joined the Fort Behavioral team in May of 2019 as our Business Development Specialist for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She holds her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas where she also played basketball. She returned home to pursue graduate school at Texas Christian University and earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. Whitney gained clinical experience working with adolescents and their families in both residential and outpatient settings, specializing in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and helping clients identify their strengths and uncover their own innate abilities to empower themselves in their lives.
Prior to joining Fort, Whitney spent the last four years wearing multiple hats in the admissions and community outreach roles at a Dallas private school. She thrives on building meaningful relationships and being able to connect people to the helpful resources they need. In her free time, you can find Whitney on a treadmill, trying local foodie spots, cheering on the Horned Frogs at TCU home games, or exploring the world with her wife, Lindsey. They also have three fur babies and a handful of nieces and nephews they love to spoil at any opportunity.

Melvin received his bachelor degree in Business Administration at Houston Tillotson University. After college, he began working with troubled youth in a residential setting, outside of Austin, TX. This is where Melvin found his purpose in life. He brings over 43 years of passion and service in the Behavioral Healthcare Industry to Fort Behavioral Health. Prior to joining the Business Development team at Fort Behavioral Health, he held the position of Director of Business Development at four of the largest Behavioral Healthcare Corporations in the nation.
He enjoys spending time with family, camping, fishing, restoring classic trucks and mentoring young men in his church.

Cynthia has a passion for helping others that led her to Fort Behavioral Health. She has lost loved ones to the disease of alcoholism. Remembering the fear and despair of not knowing where to turn or what to do, it is now her mission to help people who feel that same way find resources for their loved ones.
Before joining Fort Behavioral Health, Cynthia worked as Business Development Manager for an addiction treatment center in Texas. She also spent nine years as Chief Development Officer at the Recovery Resource Council, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people with substance abuse and mental health issues. She majored in marketing at Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys yoga, reading and TCU Football.

Angela Johnson

Angela is passionate about seeing people recover and return home to their families, healthier and whole. Positive and client-focused, she goes above and beyond to build relationships and provide resources to those working toward recovery.
Prior to joining Fort Behavioral Health in February 2020, Angela served as an Outreach Coordinator for a national addiction treatment company. She also worked in business development for a residential drug and alcohol rehab in Lubbock County and a mental health facility in Carrollton. She has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Clark Atlanta University. In her free time, Angela likes to travel, volunteer at church and spend quality time with her daughter.
